Continue Ordinance No. 2023-29 for second reading on November 28, 2023.

Background Information
Each year, the Commission approves a schedule for the Commission Meetings and for the Workshop Meetings for the upcoming year. The proposed schedule for 2024 has been submitted.
Please note the following:
Ø Florida League of Cities Legislative Action Days in Tallahassee, FL is scheduled for January 29, 2024, through January 31, 2024. This does not interfere with any scheduled meetings.
Ø National League of Cities Congressional City Conference in Washington, DC is scheduled for March 11, 2024, through March 13, 2024. Therefore, the City Commission Regular Meeting scheduled on March 12, 2024, has been changed to March 5, 2024.
Ø National League of Cities City Summit in Tampa, FL is scheduled for November 13, 2024, through November 16, 2024. This does not interfere with any scheduled meetings.
Ø Florida League of Cities Annual Conference in Hollywood, FL is scheduled for August 15, 2024, through August 17, 2024. This does not interfere with any scheduled meetings.
Ø Florida League of Cities 2024 Legislative Conference date is to be determined (TBD).
Information for Second Reading
At its regular meeting on November 14, 2023, the City Commission heard Ordinance No. 2023-29 and continued the Ordinance to second reading on November 28, 2023 as presented.
Per Florida Statutes Section 166.041(4), the Business Impact Estimate for this ordinance was posted on the City website on November 15th and advertised on November 17th.
