Changes from First Reading to Second Reading
The January 6th, 2026 Regular Meeting date at 10:00 a.m. was changed to January 13th, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. from First to Second reading due to a conflict with Commission’s Strategic Planning session.
Background Information
Each year, the Commission approves a schedule for the City Commission Regular Meetings and City Commission Workshops for the upcoming year. The proposed schedule for 2026 has been submitted.
Please note the following:
Ø Florida League of Cities Legislative Action Days in Tallahassee, Florida, is scheduled for January 26, 2026, through January 28, 2026. This does not interfere with any scheduled meetings.
Ø Florida League of Cities Annual Conference in Orlando, Florida, is scheduled for August 13, 2026, through August 15, 2026. This does not interfere with any scheduled meetings.
Ø Florida League of Cities 2026 Legislative Conference date is to be determined (TBD).
The Business Impact Estimate was posted on the City’s Website on October 7, 2025.
Ordinance No. 2025-32 has been reviewed by the Interim City Attorney and is legally correct as to form.
Ordinance No. 2025-32 was sent to the City Clerk’s Office for signature on October 7, 2025, subject to City Commission approval.
