Recommended Action
Approve the End User License Agreement between CentralSquare Technologies LLC and the City of North Port, Florida, for mobile base position and mobile mapping software subscriptions in connection with Sarasota County’s computer-aided dispatch (CAD) system.
Background Information
Sarasota County provides dispatch services for the North Port Fire Rescue District (NPFR) and uses a computer-aided dispatch (CAD) system to manage and coordinate responses to 911 calls and emergency situations. This system sends valuable information directly to NPFR units, so they know where to go and what to expect when they arrive.
Sarasota County is in the process of transitioning to a new system with CentralSquare Technologies LLC (CentralSquare) and NPFR needs the necessary subscriptions in order to access and use the new CAD system. The CentralSquare End User License Agreement is required for the annual subscriptions needed for the new system.
The End User License Agreement between CentralSquare Technologies LLC and the City of North Port, Florida, for mobile base position and mobile mapping software subscriptions in connection with Sarasota County’s computer-aided dispatch (CAD) system has been reviewed by the Interim City Attorney and is legally correct as to form.
