General Information

 

Chapter 2, Article II of the Unified Land Development Code (ULDC) adopted via Ordinance No. 2024-13 established new development application types, and Section 2.2.2., Table 2.2.2.1. Decision Matrix identifies those application types requiring quasi-judicial public hearings. Ordinance 2024-16 amends the City Code, Chapter 2, Article III, Section 2.8.2. - Quasi-Judicial Matters to incorporate the new development application types that should be identified as quasi-judicial matters for consistency with the ULDC.

 

The City Attorney has reviewed Ordinance No. 2024-16 for form and correctness.

 

Information for Second Reading

 

The City Commission heard the first reading of Ordinance No. 2024-16 at its Regular Meeting on July 23, 2024 and continued the ordinance to second reading on August 6, 2024.

 

Business Impact Estimate

 

In accordance with Florida Statutes Section 166.041(4)(a), on July 5, 2024, the City timely posted a business impact estimate on the City’s website, before the date the newspaper published notice of this ordinance’s final reading.
