                     Cons: The required reimbursement payments to the developer may make the Fire Impact Fee Fund over budget.

 

Background Information

 

The North Port Fire Rescue Department is requesting an increase of $200,000 to the Fire Impact Fee Fund revenue and expenditure budgets to reflect anticipated additional impact fee revenue and provide sufficient budget for the corresponding developer reimbursement payment required under the West Villages Post Annexation Developer Agreement. Reimbursement payments are based on actual impact fee revenues received.

 

Ordinance No. 2026-29 has been reviewed by the City Attorney and is legally correct as to form.

The Fiscal Year 2026 revenue budget account 151-0000-324.12-01 will be increased by $200,000.  The Fiscal Year 2026 expenditure budget account 151-2222-522.81-01 will be increased by $200,000.
