Background Information
Each year, the Commission approves a schedule for the City Commission Regular Meetings and City Commission Workshops for the upcoming year. The proposed schedule for 2027 has been submitted.
Please note the following:
? Florida League of Cities Legislative Action Days in Tallahassee, Florida, is scheduled for March 8, 2027, through March 10, 2027. This conflicts with the typical 2nd Tuesday Regular Meeting of March, therefore the Regular Meetings for March were moved to March 16, 2027, and March 30, 2027.
? Florida League of Cities Annual Conference in Orlando, Florida, is scheduled for August 19, 2027, through August 21, 2027. This does not interfere with any scheduled meetings.
? Florida League of Cities 2027 Legislative Conference date is to be determined (TBD).
? The November 23, 2027, Regular Meeting was moved to November 16, 2027, and the September 6, 2027, Commission Workshop was moved to September 13, 2027, due to holiday conflicts.
The Business Impact Estimate was posted on the City’s Website on September 25, 2026.
