The purpose of this item is to facilitate discussion regarding the potential environmental effects of data centers and related infrastructure. Topics may include energy consumption, water use for cooling systems, greenhouse gas emissions, land use considerations, impacts on natural resources and wildlife habitat, and opportunities to incorporate sustainability measures and environmental best practices into future data center development.
