Recommended Action

Option 1: Approve Agreement No. 2026-03, Construction Engineering and Inspection Services (CEI) for North Port Boulevard Over Cocoplum Waterway Bridge Rehabilitation with AECOM Technical Services, Inc. in the Amount of $51,726.88

City Commission Options

Pros: Allows for use of CEI Services on the North Port Boulevard Bridge Rehabilitation while following the requirements of the Community Block Development Grant (CDBG).
Cons: Commits $51,726.88 in project funding that would no longer be available for allocation to other potential Public Works capital improvement projects.

Option 2: Deny Agreement No. 2026-03
Pros: Preserves the project funding for potential use for other Public Works capital improvement projects.
