SUBJECT: Discussion and Possible Action Regarding the 2024 Planning and Zoning Advisory Board Annual Report to the City Commission.

Recommended Action
1. Review the proposed draft of the Planning and Zoning Advisory Board's annual report, provide feedback, and recommend any necessary amendments to the information presented.
2. Discuss and provide direction on the method for submitting the annual report to the City Commission from the three options provided.
General Information
Per City Code Sec. 4-4. - Meetings (c) Reports. (a) All boards must provide verbal or written reports to the city commission to include the previous calendar year's activities and their goals for the following calendar year in the first quarter of the calendar year each year. The city commission will review the annual reports, duties, responsibilities and goals of the boards, and, if necessary, meet with the boards to address issues.
There are three potential options available to fulfill the specified requirement:
1. Request a joint meeting at a regular meeting and present a report at the joint meeting.
2. Submit a report at a special recognition meeting.
3. Submit the report to the City Manager, who will forward it with a cover memo to the City Commission.
