Discussion to provide direction to staff regarding the City’s inclusion of referendum questions in the March 11, 2025, special election.
Background Information
The Sarasota County Supervisor of Elections is coordinating a municipal election on March 11, 2025, for the Town of Longboat Key. This provides an opportunity for other entities within the Sarasota County to bring items to referendum.
Staff seeks to provide Commission with process information for consideration and possible direction if desired.
