Background Information
The Department of Public Works is seeking to purchase property located on Wenona Drive currently owned by Julio and Michelle Cordoba; Parcel Identification No. 1121245705. This property acquisition will provide access to Fixed Weir 157 (FW157) and enable permanent access for future maintenance and rehabilitation. Public Works has worked with Florida Acquisition and Appraisal, Inc. to purchase this property. An agreement has been reached with Mr. and Mrs. Cordoba to sell their property to the North Port Road and Drainage District for $67,500.00. This parcel was appraised at $61,500.00.
Resolution No. 2024-R-21 has been reviewed by the City Attorney and is legally correct as to form.

Procurement
