Recommended Action
Approve Agreement No. 2024-27 for the maintenance of stormwater grates within the Duck Key neighborhood between the City of North Port and the Duck Key Owners’ Association, Inc.
Background Information
During the June 7, 2022, Regular Commission meeting, staff brought for discussion the possibility of the City acceptance of the maintenance and replacement of metal roadway grates in the Duck Key subdivision. After discussion ensued, the City Commission made a motion to replace the grates and have the Homeowner's Association reimburse the City under a new agreement to be determined under negotiations.
As such, Agreement No. 2024-27 is being brought before Commission for consideration.
Agreement No. 2024-27 for the maintenance of stormwater grates within the Duck Key neighborhood has been reviewed by the City Attorney and is legally correct as to form.
