Approve Change Order No. 1 to Work Assignment PW2022-01 for Continuing Contract No. 2016-32 Professional Surveying Services with Van Buskirk & Fish Surveying and Mapping, Inc., to increase the Work Assignment amount from $175,000 to an estimated amount of $228,600.
Background Information
The City of North Port advertised Request for Proposals (RFP) 2016-32 Professional Surveying Services to procure regular surveying services to be utilized by various City Departments. Commission approved Agreement 2016-32 on January 24, 2017, with the City Commission approving the final two-year renewal effective November 1, 2021, through October 31, 2023.
Commission approved WA No. PW2022-01 on September 28, 2021 for an estimated amount of $175,000.00 for miscellaneous small survey services and line and grade work. The volume of work has increased and Public Works anticipates the need for an additional $53,600 in funds for the balance of the fiscal year.
Due to the continued increase of construction activity, staff recommends Commission approval of the following:
1. Increase the expenditures in Fiscal Year 2022 for Work Assignment PW2022-01 from $175,000 to an estimated amount of $228,600 based upon the current contracted hourly rates
